Pistol Maintenance, Use, & Accessories
Introduction to Pisol Maintenance and Familiarity
Next Course: TBD

Dave Clark, our rifle maintenance instructor, joins us again to expand into hand guns.
You'll learn about revolvers and automatic pistols, such as a Glock and 1911. Learn how to clean them, tips on operation and safety. Do you know what a forcing cone is? It will help keep your revolver accurate. Familiar with the best kinds of speed loaders? How do you field strip an automatic?
If you have a pistol, but are not super comfortable with it, this class will give you access to a lot of great information in a low stress learning environment. If you are thinking about a pistol, but don't know where to start or who to ask -- this class is a perfect starting point.
You may bring your pistol to class. Absolutely NO AMMUNITION in the classroom. We will, however, be using "snap caps" (dummy rounds) to show proper loading and unloading techniques, as well as run a couple of drills using these safety rounds.
Join us for a couple of hours on a Friday night at the shop for informal, low stress instruction and Q&A with a veteran instructor. Come with questions, leave with answers.
